Horsemen Advance to United Bowl II with Win Over Rock River
July 22, 2006 - The Lexington Horsemen overcame an early first-quarter deficit Saturday in the United Indoor Football Semifinals and advanced to United Bowl II with a 47-34 win over Rock River in Rupp Arena. Lexington (14-2), which avenged two regular-season losses to the Raptors with Saturday's win, improves to 6-2 all-time in playoff contests and advances to its second national championship game in franchise history.

Horsemen to Face Rock River in UIF Semifinals on Saturday
July 16, 2006 - The Lexington Horsemen begin their quest for the 2006 United Bowl on Saturday when they play host to Rock River in the United Indoor Football Semifinals. Kick-off in Rupp Arena between the East Division Champion Horsemen and the Central Division Champion Raptors (12-4) is set for 7:30 p.m. The Horsemen will be looking to avenge their only two losses of the season when they face Rock River.

July 12, 2006 - Last past weekend Lewis caught seven catches for 87-yards and crossed the goal line twice to receive UIF Week 16 Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Horsemen Conclude Regular Season with Win at Bloomington
July 8, 2006 - The Lexington Horsemen concluded the finest regular season in franchise history Saturday with a 59-51 win over Bloomington in U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, Ill. Lexington finishes the regular season with a 13-2 record - the best mark in the history of the franchise.

July 5, 2006 - Lexington special teams player William Mulder was named the United Indoor Football Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 15, the league office in Omaha, Neb., announced Wednesday.

Horsemen Lock Up No. 2 Seed with Win at Ft. Wayne
July 1, 2006 - The Lexington Horsemen opened up a close game with a stingy Ft. Wayne team Saturday and cruised to a 70-44 win over the Freedom in Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Ft. Wayne, Ind. The Horsemen locked up the No. 2 seed in the upcoming United Indoor Football playoffs with the win, ensuring Lexington a first-round bye in the six-team playoffs and home-field advantage in the semifinal round.

June 28, 2006 - Lewis caught six passes for an amazing 116-yards and had three touchdowns in a 52-17 victory over the Peoria Rough Riders.

June 24, 2006 - Wide receiver Harry Lewis caught six passes for 116 yards with three touchdowns Saturday to lead East Division Champion Lexington to a 52-17 win over Peoria in front of 6,408 fans in Rupp Arena. The Horsemen, who improve to 11-2, need either a win in their next two games or a loss by Rock River to clinch the No. 2 seed in the United Indoor Football playoffs and secure home-field advantage in the semifinals.

Eviston's 7 TD Passes Help Horsemen Stay Perfect

April 28, 2006- First-year Lexington quarterback Eddie Eviston threw for 212 yards with seven touchdown passes Friday and wide receiver Chad Spencer caught seven passes for 101 yards with three scores as the Horsemen notched a resounding 65-32 victory over the Ft. Wayne Freedom in Rupp Arena.

April 26, 2006- Champ made 13 solo tackles and one assisted tackle in the Horsemen victory over the Evansville BlueCats (1-4) in Week 5.

Week #5 UIF Preview

April 21, 2006- United Indoor Football (UIF) will kick-off Week 5 action tomorrow night with the beginning of a couple new rivalries and a few old ones as well. Games include Sioux City at Omaha, Sioux Falls at Ft. Wayne, Peoria to Rock River; Lexington travels to Evansville and the Bloomington Extreme head to Ohio Valley to meet the Greyhounds.

Horsemen Look for Franchise Best Start at Evansville

April 20, 2006 - This marks the eighth meeting all-time between the Horsemen and the BlueCats. Lexington leads the all-time series 6-1 and the Horsemen have won two consecutive meetings over Evansville. The squads split a pair of regular-season contests last year before the Horsemen took a 55-50 win over the BlueCats in the first round of the UIF playoffs in Rupp Arena.

Eviston, Spencer Rally Horsemen for Comeback Win in Rupp

April 15, 2006 - Lexington quarterback Eddie Eviston and wide receiver Chad Spencer teamed up for a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter Saturday as the Horsemen overcame a halftime deficit to rout Omaha, 46-23, in Rupp Arena.

Horsemen Look for 3-0 Start Against Beef

April 15, 2006 - Off to a 2-0 start for the third consecutive season, the Lexington Horsemen return home Saturday to host the Omaha Beef. Kick-off in Rupp Arena is set for 7:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live on WLAP 630 AM. Saturday’s game is being billed as Armed Forces Day in Rupp Arena. Fans presenting their military identification cards will receive admission to the game for just $5. In addition, country music artist John Michael Montgomery will perform during a special halftime, as he pays tribute to American troops by singing his “Letters From Home” hit. The game also will feature $1 hotdogs throughout the night at Rupp Arena concessions stands.

Horsemen Travel to Peoria for First Road Test

April 6, 2006 - Following a week off since their season-opening win over the Ohio Valley Greyhounds, the Lexington Horsemen return to action Saturday when they travel to Peoria, Ill., to face their first road test in the Peoria Rough Riders.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

St. Patrick's Day - Participation in Lexington's St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 11, 2006 was almost a-wash due to near monsoon conditions!  The Horsemen still flew their proud colors despite the rugged conditions.  Among those representing the Horsemen were Horsemen Antonio Hall and Fillie Jessica Jenkins.
